I'm Jake, founder of Ted Kangaroo. I'm a parent, and I'm neurodiverse — dyslexic, ADHD.

I know what it feels like to be the kid who processes the world differently. I also know what happens when that kid finds the tools that work.

I went from struggling high school student to Columbia, then Harvard Law, and a career beyond, because I found what worked for me at the right stage of my development. That's what this brand is for.

My passion for neurodiversity advocacy drives me to create products that don't just calm kids down, but lift them up—giving them what they need to thrive.

My commitment to science and evidence-based design isn't incidental. I grew up in a family of physicians — my father has practiced psychiatry with a focus on family medicine for decades. Rigorous, careful thinking about what actually helps people isn't a brand value for me. It's how I was raised. We bring that same standard to our products — constantly learning from our network of doctors, therapists, and clinicians to improve our products.

Every child who processes the world differently deserves tools that actually work for them. That's what Ted Kangaroo is here to do.
